Last year we released over 50 new features for COROS devices. Here's a closer look at some of our favorites that you might've missed.

1. Extender

The Extender feature helps you view activity data from your watch on a bigger, easier to read screen. Whether you're on a treadmill, stationary bike, or hike, open the COROS app to view critical data fields like heart rate and pace, or view a map with your current location and route details. You can think of Extender as an extension of your watch, seamlessly integrating with your phone to give you the best workout experience, without having to lift your wrist.

2. Group Tracking

Group Tracking lets you create a team of friends so that you can view their live location at any time, on your phone, watch, or DURA. It's perfect for group rides, trail runs, or any outdoor activity where you want to keep tabs on your group.

3. Safety Alerts

On a run or outdoor adventure, Safety Alerts help friends or loved ones feel relief knowing that they'll receive a live tracking link anytime you start an activity. Additionally, if you run into trouble, holding the Safety Alert button on your watch or DURA can alert them of your location and that you're requesting assistance.

4. Virtual Pacer

Virtual Pacer makes it easy to keep track of your pacing during a race or key workout. When using Virtual Pacer you'll see your current pace, time ahead or behind your goal race time, and your estimated completion time.

5. Sleep Quality Score

Sleep is a major part of recovery, but not all sleep is equal. With Sleep Quality scores you can quickly see a summary of your sleep last night, or dive into the details of each sleep stage compared to what's recommended. This can help you identify patterns and routines that help you get more high quality sleep.

6. Gear Tracking

Just like tracking your car's odometer helps you know when it's time for an oil change, you can now track the gear you use for your activities. This allows you to see how much mileage they've accumulated and when it might be time for bike maintenance or a new pair of shoes. Set a max distance on your shoes to receive a notification when you've exceeded it, and track the overall distance for any bikes and shoes directly within the COROS app.

7. Strava Live Segments

Strava Live Segments add an extra level of competition, and fun, to your workouts. Whether comparing your current segment time to your previous self, the segment leader, or a friend, using Live Segments can give you the extra boost of motivation to get out there.

8. Cycling Fitness and FTP

For cyclists training with a power meter, tracking your FTP and power zones is key to maximizing your performance. After pairing a power meter with your COROS device, your FTP and power zones will update automatically as your fitness improves or declines. For those who prefer a more direct assessment of your current fitness, the guided FTP Test in Indoor Cycling mode provides an immediate evaluation of your FTP and power zones through a guided workout.
