Here are a few dedicated workouts and one training plan to get you prepared for the race day.
6-Week Mountain Running Training Plan
This plan is designed to increase your ability to sustain higher intensities on hilly and technical terrain. It focuses on longer days out at low/moderate intensities and contains a 2-block buildup without taper time but is highly specific to a wide variety of mountain projects. Athletes should be prepared for six running days up to 80km (50miles) weekly. Access to hilly terrain is mandatory.

Trail Run Fartlek Workout
This workout style is called a Fartlek (varying your pace and intensity throughout your run). After warm up run 6x3 minutes fast, 1:30 easy running. This should be a controlled workout throughout. This workout helps improve speed and endurance, while getting comfortable moving fast on trails.
