Whether you want to automatically tick a route during your climb, measure your heart rate recovery, or quickly turn on Airplane mode, our latest update delivers these features and more to help you get more from your COROS.
Rock Climbing Updates
Outdoor Climbing Route Detection
Outdoor Climb mode now automatically identifies routes near your location, displaying names and grades directly on your wrist. Select specific routes before you begin your climb so each grade and pitch is recorded perfectly – and without relying on memory after the climb has ended. You can also tick your routes directly during the climb to seamlessly build your ultimate digital climbing journal.
Note: The route library is currently available for US routes, with expanded regional support coming soon.
We are also launching a web platform for climbers to contribute route submissions to be added to the route library. Once verified, these additions will join the global library for the entire community. Join our notification list to be the first to know when submissions open.
Bouldering Optimizations
Bouldering mode features improved efficiency with automatic route detection and the option to log your grade during your rest phase or immediately after a send. Post-session summaries in the app provide detailed analytics to review your day on the wall.

Airplane Mode
Manage your watch's connectivity on your own terms. Whether you are working in a secure facility that restricts Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, or looking to maximize battery life on extended trips, Airplane Mode allows you to disconnect with a single toggle.

Heart Rate Recovery
Track your cardiovascular fitness with automated Heart Rate Recovery. After any activity that your watch tracks, it will measure how quickly your heart rate drops during the two minutes immediately after you pause it for the last time. For interval training, it also tracks your recovery during designated rest stages, logging the data in your lap summary table so you can evaluate how fast your body adapts between hard efforts. Future updates will expand on Heart Rate Recovery data, to provide deeper insights into your post-workout recovery.

Battery Health Page
Monitor your device's power usage with the new Battery Health page. Get transparent insights into power consumption and daily usage trends over the past seven days. The watch also features proactive hardware monitoring, alerting you with a support banner if it detects abnormal battery behavior so you can access assistance immediately.

In-Progress Activity Sync
Your activities can now sync to the app before you finish them on watch, allowing you to review their details during breaks. This will occur during pauses, so you can regroup, check your full stats, and get back to work if you've got more to do.

AllTrails Integration
You can now sync AllTrails routes directly to your COROS route library*, so you can navigate in real time and automatically upload every hike or trail run to your AllTrails account.
*Syncing routes directly to your COROS account is only available for AllTrails Plus and Peak members. Base members can export and upload GPX files to their COROS app.

And plenty more.
- You can turn off the automatic email that's sent at the start of every outdoor workout, while keeping Safety Alerts "ON" in case you need to trigger one.
- The upper limit for the speed you can set for treadmill runs in Metric units has been increased to 25km/h.
- Gym Cardio workouts can have the POD 2 connected on the foot and have Distance data tracked and displayed in the post-workout summary.
- Completed workouts automatically imported from Zwift to your COROS account will now receive a "Zwift" prefix so they can be easily recognized.
